Angular Munich Meetup Returns with AI and Zoneless Angular Insights
This week, the latest edition of the Angular Munich Meetup once again brought Munich’s Angular community together for an evening of expert talks, networking, and discussions around the future of frontend development.
The bi-monthly meetup series is organized by Franz Inselkammer, CEO of Inovum IT Solutions, who continues to grow the local Angular community by creating a platform for developers, architects, and tech enthusiasts to connect and exchange ideas.
Hosted at the offices of remberg, the event featured two standout talks from internationally recognized Angular experts.
Talk 1 — Manfred Steyer
Manfred Steyer presented “Agentic UI beyond Chats: Architecture Patterns and Open Standards.”
The session explored how AI-powered applications are evolving beyond simple chat interfaces toward fully agentic systems capable of planning, acting, and interacting with tools. Manfred demonstrated how emerging open standards such as AG-UI, A2UI, and MCP Apps can help developers build scalable and maintainable Agentic UI architectures while avoiding vendor lock-in.
Attendees also gained insight into Human-in-the-Loop concepts, including approval workflows and collaborative planning, which are becoming increasingly important as AI systems move into production environments.
Talk 2 — Dmytro Mezhenskyi
Dmytro Mezhenskyi delivered a deep technical session titled “Zoneless Angular: The Hidden Cost of Zone.js and What Replaces It.”
Dmytro explained the performance and debugging challenges introduced by Zone.js and showed how Angular’s zoneless mode improves runtime efficiency, developer experience, and application performance. The talk also provided a look under the hood at Angular’s ChangeDetectionScheduler and the framework’s new approach to triggering view updates without Zone.js.
With strong attendance, engaging discussions, and high-profile speakers, the latest Angular Munich Meetup once again highlighted the strength of Munich’s frontend community and the growing interest in modern Angular architecture and AI-driven development.
